The Main Event of the evening will feature the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion, Chase Owens facing off with his former mentor, Ricky Morton in a Grudge Match! On May 18, Owens joined the Illuminati and turned his back on Morton, costing him his shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Title against Rob Conway. Since that day, the refocused Chase Owens has been on a roll. He recently regained his NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title in Houston, TX. However, Owen’s momentum doesn’t worry Morton. He is out for revenge and may be the one man that can stop Owens in his tracks. Also, for the first time in Kingsport, the NWA World Women's Title will be the line as the champion Kacee Carlisle defends against Jessie Belle Smothers. Jessie is the daughter of Smoky Mountain Wrestling Legend Tracy Smothers. She is coming to her father’s old stomping grounds with a chance to win the most prestigious championship in Women’s Wrestling. But that will be no easy task.
