10 Questions with TVW/PWA Independent Star Michael Anthony

Michael Anthony is a veteran of the Independent wrestling scene. For some 29 odd years this ring general has been up and down the road to numerous Armory's, school gyms, and auditoriums. He may not be a household name, but those that know him know what he is about. I met Michael via Facebook and was glad I had the opportunity to get to know a little about his current organization in Pulaski, Tn. TVW/PWA. He was also gracious enough to take some time and answer my 10 Question interview. I am glad he did, as he has given a little insight into his personality and wrestling experience.

1. Why did you want to become a pro wrestler? Was a childhood dream

2.Who is your Favorite Wrestler and why? Natureboy Ric Flair because WOOOOOO!!!!!

3. What is the best experience in or out of the ring you have had in pro wrestling and why? Inducting Handsome Jimmy Valiant in the Mid-South Wrestling Hall of Fame in Gibson Tennessee back in 2001...he's a true Living Legend!

4. What was the Coolest venue/location you have wrestled in and why? Memphis Mid-South Coliseum and it's self explanatory why!

5. Who is the most experienced or well known person you have wrestled? The Boogie Woogie Man Handsome Jimmy Valiant

6. Is there a story behind your wrestling name? No story behind my name, I took the name and MADE the story

7. Who over the years has been your Biggest Rival and why? Money Maker Mark Nickles...he brings out the best in me, period!

8. What is your entrance Theme Music? "Cryin Like A Bitch"

9. What makes you stand out in the wrestling business? I'm a leader, not a follower

10.What has been your Proudest Moment in the sport of wrestling.? Saturday night May 19th 1984, my 1st match in Crockett Mills Tennessee.
