MAMA SAYS IT BES THAT WAY SOMETIMES!!!...I just wanted to take the time here to put a little positive vibes out there to all the followers of WNC, which, sadly, doesn't happen nearly enough, so I'm going to list a few random points that I feel we should all be happy about... here goes:
1)Derek O'Dell....While I've never met him, at least to my knowledge, i think the coverage, the photos, and the interviews he has been putting on the site are fantastic! Well written, informitive, and interesting. I'm not personally familiar with the guys he has profiled, but that's fine... in fact, thats even better, since it serves as an introduction to guys who I'm sure I'll see somewhere down the road. Keep up the good work!!! I'd love to interview with him!!!
2)TCW...I think Tom Simon, Matt Riviera, and the rest of the TCW crew are doing a great job promoting their product and I wish them nothing but success.
3)EPW... This promotion is continuing to develop its product and its talent, and with the experience and knowledge of my friend Bill Dundee, as well as Kross and Edith Poole, EPW is definitely one of my favorite places to make an appearance when my schedule allows.
4)Memphis Power Wrestling...the initial Memphis Power Wrestling event at the Resorts Casino last month was a HUGE success, and I'm proud to have been a part of it. The event was packed out, and the talent, a mixture of us long-timers and some newer faces was great. The people loved it, and between the legendary Lance Russell's introduction, Mayor Oscar Barlow's fantastic ring announcing,Bbrandon Baxters spot on (as always) mic work, and everything else in between, this was the event of the year for our part of the country.
5)Finally...last but definitely not least....the termination of the message board is the most positive event of the year as far as I'm concerned. No more bashing, no more Vixen, Hugo, Nations, Gunnar, etc. bashing. No more umpteen posts talking bad about each other and hiding behind fake names and a keyboard. No more .."YOU'RE A JERK"..."NO--YOU'RE A JERK".... Wow. Never thought I'd see the day with no bathroom wall to write on!!! Thank GOD.
